Interesting! Useful! Direct!
It can be used in many ways. Mostly what I'm thinking is to use it as a marketing tool. Since it can be directly subscribed to using RSS feeds.

Library 2.0

The Future!
Library 2.0 can be simply put as the future of libraries. If libraries does not move forward to use the new technologies that are out in the world today and tomorrow, then customers will no longer talk to the librarians, because they will not have any need of them.
People are using the the new technologies and are searching for newer technologies everyday. Libraries need to implement and adapt into these new technologies and have staff trained to assist customers in using them. Reference questions can now be answered by any number of search engines. Search engines that Elementary School kids are able to use.

As the old saying goes "Get with it!".

Del.icio.us
First I thought
Then, I explored the site, and found it to be interesting and useful. It's useful, because I go to a lot of webpages related to technology and if I find something interesting I like to come back to it. I could use the bookmarks of the web browser but the manual organizing.

Using Del.icio.us would be easier!

Technology
All things technological - computers, phones, cameras, audio/video players, chips, circuit boards, ....!How much technology do you have in your home, car, pocket? If you have a lot, this doesn't make you a technologicaly estute, and if you don't have a lot or don't have anything that doesn't make you a untechie.
If you have a lot of gadgets but don't know how to use them, only thing you are is rich!

If you know how to use the gadgets but don't own them, this makes you smart, because next week its another new gadget!
The best technology you can learn use is the one thing you have with you all the time, your BRAIN!
Learning, adapting, memorizing, consious/unconsious, the brain is the "it" in technology!
Rubber Tree
Check out this link!
It is a pic of a Rubber Tree Estate from my hometown in India! The sap of tree is taken to make rubber sheets, which then is sold all over the world.

7& 1/2 habits of lifelong learning:
1. Begin with the end in mind.
2. Accept responsibility for your own learning.
(Kind of hard - I will setup everything to learn, but ... usually never find the time to stick with it or finish it.)
3. View problems as challenges.
4. Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner.
5. Create your own learning toolbox.
6. Use technology to your advantage.
7. Teach/mentor others.
7 1/2. Play.
